I am the granddaughter of John Thompson and Cassie Ann Matilda (Tildy) Gentry Little, as well as their youngest grandchild.
My father, Howard Laverne Little, was the youngest child of John Thompson and Cassie Ann Matilda Little, as well as their 13th child. He married Emmie Stogner of the New Zion Community, Tylertown, Walthall County, MS. I grew up in the MS Delta in Sunlfower County. My parents are buried in Delta Heights Memorial Cemetery, Cleveland, MS. They had three children: Virginia Little Nutt, William Laverne Little and myself, Barbara Ann Little.
