1st.Sgt. Harvey N. Hedstrom is my Dad. He died in Vietnam on May 17th, 1969. My family loves & misses him even more today, 43 years later. I was & always will be Daddy's Little Girl. He taught me more in my 12 years with him on this earth then he or even I knew. He taught me about life, the good & bad, happy & sad, but mostly he taught me how to love with all my heart & to always be Thankful for the people we have in our lives, for we don't know how long we will have them near. I never thought I could love someone more than I already did. Your love is carried with me in my heart & every day I remember that. I love you Daddy. I miss having you here but I know you are always near me. Love your little girl, Lea Ann
I am the youngest girl in my family of five. I have two older sisters, Carol & Bonnie, an older brother, David and a younger brother, Rick, who has passed & is with our Dad. My Mom, June is still living and not a day goes by that we don't miss our Dad. We are very Proud of him & the sacrifice that he gave with his life. He is our HERO and always will be.
