I am relatively new to genealogical research, but not new to the desire to know my roots. I am a transplant to Texas originally from central Louisiana.

I work as the Asst Dir. of Payroll for the University of Texas at Arlington. I love doing yard work and would do that full time if it only paid as well!

I am married to the closest thing to a perfect man you can find. We have a great son. Doing this research I found out that he got married on the 120th anniversary of my great-grandparent's wedding day! Also, I found out that this same great-grandmother also shares a birthday with my son! How cool!
