I was born, raised and lived in Boone County, WV all of my life. I am a past President of the Boone County Genealogy Society. My roots run deep in Boone and Lincoln Counties.
My mother was born and lived all her life in Boone County. I have many memories of family that my mother told me. She was related to the Thompson, Berry, Collins, Roberts, Lovejoy and Adkins lines.
My Dad's family roots are also deep in Boone County. His lines are the Mitchell and Miller families.
Since I have retired I now have time to get back to doing one of my favorite hobbies of connecting family roots.
