My grandparents, great aunts and uncles all passed when I was a child. I lost my brother in 2019 and that inspired me to visit graves more often.

I've added classmates, friends and coworkers to my visit list as well, and I leave a small laminated card with the flowers letting the family know their loved one is not forgotten.

I have learned to not take one minute of life for granted....and to embrace every breath.
