My mother was very interested in family history and I began searching records to help her. She had macular degeneration and relied on me to tell her what records I had found. In time I became as interested as she had been and continue my search hoping that someday my own children will carry on when I am gone. There is so much to discover and every day it becomes easier to obtain records through advancing technology. I cannot imagine ever losing the curiosity I feel about past generations and what impact their lives have had on mine.
