After my father passed, I joined Ancestry.com and began researching his family tree. About 2 years into it, I discovered my grandfather's memorial on Find A Grave and decided to visit Riverview Cemetery in Brawley, California to take a photo of his headstone. While there I took photos of some of the headstones near my grandfather's and added them to Find A Grave. I have since been back several times to take photos of as many headstones as I could. When I travel, I usually stop at at least one cemetery to take headstone photos.

Family names I am researching include: Coen, Gatton, Cline, Herndon, Thompson, Rose, Beauchamp, Sumpter. And my husband's Guatemala family: Mendoza, Pineda, Ángeles, Vásquez, Morales, Sandoval, Quiroa.

For those who wonder about such things . . . the # of memorials managed is higher than the # of memorials created due to cousins who decided to transfer a large number of memorials to me. (Paraphrased from another F-A-G Contributor)
