I am a fourth generation Texan, a Navy vet, and for over 40 years a life member of the National Rifle Association. My direct lineage goes back to 1638 Virginia when William Baugh came to America from England as an indentured servant. He ran away to North Carolina at age 16 and eventually to Georgia. My Great-Great Grandfather, William Lovic Baugh, came to Texas in 1849 from Georgia. I have found ancestors who fought in the American Revolution, at the Alamo and San Jacinto for the Republic of Texas, in "The War for Southern Independence", and in every other military action involving this great nation up until the present time. Members of my family have always proudly served in the military defending our American way of life.

The memorials on Find-a-Grave each represent a person who had a life filled with family, accomplishments and a history. As keepers of these memorials, it is our duty to find and post as much information as possible on every memorial we manage. Doing less is as much an act of disrespect for that person as vandalizing their grave.

I strongly believe that our forefathers were guided by our Christian GOD to write The Constitution and build the most exceptional nation this world has ever known.. I am actively researching my family's involvement in this never ending struggle to preserve our Constitutional Republic against the radical left's attempts to make this into a Communist Oligarchy.
