My name is Goldie May Collins Masters, Also known as Sis.

Daughter of Thomas Arthur Collins and Carolyn Lee Gentry Collins. I am named after Goldie Maybell Gentry Merriman and Ethel May Gentry and of course have my father's last name.

I've been doing family history and genealogy since before the internet. The days of actually doing the footwork. I went to libraries, cemeteries and sifted through microfilms and newspapers. Interviewed family members. I wrote essays in college on older family members, some who are now with God.

I've been blessed with the contributions of family and Find A Grave contributors who have shared information with me to make family connections. Their names I cannot mention on here because of Find A Grave community standards. I thank them all the same.

It all started when I bought a house from my grandmother, Phyllis Dorothy Herrmann Gentry and everything in it in the early 1990's

Two of the hardest deaths have been that of my father and my mother .

The hardest death has been that of my son Nicholas.

Death in itself has never been easy for me to accept.

After the deaths of my son and mother, I've become more committed to uploading as much information about family history as I can within Find A Grave community standards.

I wanted to create my own memorial page on here so that my son Nicholas, could be directly linked to family on here. However, that cannot be done because of community standards.

The records I have uploaded are not my complete collection. Some I'm still in the process of uploading and some cannot be uploaded until community standards are met. In other words names of those still living are cited somewhere on the document and would be a violation of Find A Grave community standards.
