I've been a member of FindAGrave since its early days in 1995. After my original account was unfortunately hacked, I created this one with the assistance of the site administrators.

As a professional archaeologist and genealogical researcher with over 26 years of experience, I bring a deep commitment to historical accuracy and respect for our ancestors to my work on this platform.

My approach to FindAGrave is personal, focused, and research-based:

-I only create and manage memorials for individuals to whom I have a personal connection or relation.

-I don't "collect" random people or cemeteries.

-The information I enter into memorials is based on historical sources that have been carefully analyzed and cross-referenced for accuracy.

-While I strive for precision, I acknowledge that mistakes can happen and new information can be discovered. I'm open to updates and suggestions, provided they're presented politely and supported by reliable documentation and sources.

-If someone has a closer relationship to a person whose memorial I manage, I'm always happy to transfer it to them.

-I'm open to taking over memorials for individuals to whom I have a personal connection or relation if the current creator/manager is deceased or no longer wishes to maintain them.

My goal is to honor my family's history while contributing to the broader genealogical community. I believe in collaboration and respect among researchers, and I'm always open to constructive dialogue about the memorials I manage.
