From the time I can remember I was "that person" in the family that loved hearing the stories and eventually became the family historian. My main lines on my paternal side are Bare (Switzerland to Penn Colony in 1700s) and Cottier (Isle of Man to Cleveland, OH 1899) and my maternal side -Moody (England to MA Colony 1633) and Uptegrove (Op Den Graef -Germany to Germantown, PA 1683).
