I began researching my family genealogy in 1990 after attending a family reunion. My research had been sporadic until a few years ago. My general interest is New England, Nova Scotia, and England. In particular I am focused on Nova Scotia Acadian genealogy and tracing the Acadian families who emigrated to New England.

I enjoy creating memorials on Find-a-Grave to honor those people -- relatives, friends and strangers -- who have passed on. I love discovering a relative's burial place through a memorial created by a fellow member, and it makes me happy to know that I may be helping others in turn.
