I am a retired purchasing agent and editor of Government and industry specifications for re-publishing. I was born and raised in Fort Morgan, Colorado. My first wife, Carolyn, died in 2003. I was married to Cindy on July 25, 2009. I spent 15 years living in Illinois, eighteen months in southern California; the rest of my life has been spent in Colorado. In 2012, my wife and I purchased a condo in Sun City, Arizona, and have become "snowbirds", spending up to six months each winter in the Valley of the Sun.
The genealogy bug bit me three years ago. I have traced my roots back to 960, including hundreds of immigrants. Of primary interest has been William Brewster, lay leader of the Pilgrims of Plymouth Colony, arriving here in 1620, along with the Parsons and Gere families of Massachusetts and Connecticut. The Viers-Parsons tree now contains 4500 names and is still growing.
I've gleaned valuable info from FAG and will happily share what I have found.
