I've been researching my family's East Texas roots for the last several years, focusing on the Dickey, Griffin, and Welsh family lines. Too much has been lost of the past for those who weren't the movers and shakers of the world, but did their part to make this nation the great place it became. May the memorials and photos here help to keep the past alive in the minds of their descendants.
