I started my genealogy reserach about 18 years ago as an English paper when we had to do something on the topic related to England. Much of my fathers ancesters are from England. his family have been in the States for about 8-10 generations!
Now, I'm renewing my interest in my past as I have time and resources to devote to it. Although my family history is in Michigan, I have decided that by contributing to SW Wisconsin, I can help others complete their queset in learning about their ancestors.
