Maiden name is Radford. My heritage is English, Scots, Irish, a touch of Native American, and a pinch of French Huguenot. Involved in genealogy research for over 25 years. Father's Radford line traced through Edward I and Henry III of England back to William the Conqueror. Mom's paternal Martin line only goes back about 3 generations before it hits a wall. Former editor of a genealogy newsletter for my mom's maternal Brown family line. Alexander Brown (nicknamed Sawney for 'Scotsman') and Violet Barton. Discovery by related descendants of Brown line found that Alexander was the son of Zachariah Brown. Zachariah was the son of James Brown.
