Bio

I love wandering around graveyards - they are usually peaceful and a haven for wildlife.

I have been researching my family tree seriously since 2010, but have dabbled since the 80's. I was living in Australia in the early 2000's, so I was limited to online research for my British family. I am now back in the UK so I can combine my love of photography and travel with my love of history by visiting the places my ancestors lived. Inevitably a visit to a church or cemetery is required and I'll aim to photograph interesting gravestones or ones where the inscription is eroding badly and need recording for posterity before they are completely impossible to read.

My father fought in WW2 and his father in WW1 and I have a particular interest in (although I'm not necessarily knowledgable of) these 2 wars and those impacted by them.
