I have been working on my family genealogy since 1981 (before the internet) and I love all the interesting stories and photos I have found.My father was Palmer Burreson from Bosque County, TX and through him I have my Norwegian Heritage. My mother was Mabel Angeline Burroughs and her family history takes me through Oklahoma, Kansas, Connecticut and then back to England. I wish I had started genealogy before my father passed so that I could have recorded more of his stories. My mother was a good story teller and I have recorded many of her stories.
I started school in Cranfills Gap, TX then on to Waco, TX.
My working career has been with computers and computer software in Waco and the Dallas area.
I am now retired and love to travel (still finding genealogy trips to take).
The last genealogy trip I made with my mother was to Connecticut on the first flight after 9-11. She was 97 years young and was thrilled to see first hand where her Burroughs and Middlebrook families came from in Fairfield County, CT.
I started school in Cranfills Gap, TX then on to Waco, TX.
My working career has been with computers and computer software in Waco and the Dallas area.
