I have been Clerk of the Tranquility Cemetery Association since 2020. I am tasked with selling plots, marking graves for monuments and burials in our private cemetery. I also do some cleanup as needed. I have finished creating electronic copies of the existing plot maps. There is no map for the oldest section of the cemetery so it will take a long time for me to create one. In time, I hope to organize some restoration activities.

Feel free to add additional pictures to my memorials. Additional or better pictures should always be welcomed for all memorials.

I have been requesting edits to the graves in Tranquility Cemetery to provide the most complete and accurate information possible. I apologize for the constant requests for edits. Feel free to transfer your Tranquility memorials to me.

I find entries for burials at Tranquility that there is no evidence of. I understand the old ones, but I find entries for recent (last 50 years) burials I do not believe are in Tranquility. Please do not add memorials without knowing for a fact that they are interred in the cemetery.

I add memorials as I find someone interred who has not been added to Find a Grave. I try to add obituaries, but edit out names of anyone still living.

I find it troubling that people race to add memorials when they have zero connection to the family or cemetery. We should not add memorials to cemeteries we have no real affiliation with just to gain one more memorial.
