I was born in Charleston, WV, but raised in Texas (where I now live.) I have been interested in genealogy for many years (unfortunately not long enough to have listened to my older relatives when they talked about all my kin!) Graves are an important part of genealogy, as well as someplace to go to remember and pay respects to family. Spending most of our summer vacations traveling back to WV to "see family" I got to know many of my Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, and Cousins, so their graves are of particular importance to me.

I am open to edits on any memorials I manage, however I won't change anything that's already there unless you can confirm it ("That's my Grandma!" sort of thing will do). I'd like to be sure I'm not randomly adding/deleting information. We want to be as accurate as we possibly can. The genealogy websites reference Find a Grave for proof of names, relationships, birthdates, etc.
