I have a profound interest in research, genealogy and cemetery preservation. My innate curiosity was sharpened at the age of 13 by the loss of my mother Wilma Ruth Owens. She was a remarkable person in many ways; very dedicated to her children and parents. Her premature death was the result of agreeing to take her father to town despite not feeling well, and they were killed on the return trip. Many find it hard to believe she was a lovely inside as she was outside, but it is a statement of fact. In my own way, I try to see that her memory is not forgotten, and that has extended out to many other loved ones, family I never met, and those not related at all.
