Currently a stay at home mother whose children are now all adults, the youngest being twin boys who are now 21. My greatest interests are reading and family history. When I was growing up my family would often all get in the car on a weekend day and ride, stopping at various out of the way spots and at cemeteries. We would wander around the cemeteries just looking or maybe even having a name of a family member to search for. Either way it was time spent together as a family, inexpensive (gas was cheap way back then), and enjoyed by all. As the day went on we would have a snack or a picnic, often at the cemetery. In later years I termed this as "cemetery stomping". Not a wonderful sounding term but there it is. Of course there was no actual stomping done as my parents taught us to respect the graves and cemeteries, to cause no harm. I still enjoy doing this today!
