I joined FindAGrave in 2013. My father completed extensive work on our ancestry and passed his addiction onto me. I manage many of these "Zell" family graves on FindAGrave.
My husband knew very little about his family, so that is where I began my work (Bosley, Blythe). I then began researching my mother's ancestors (Collins, Kropf, Cook).
My husband and I enjoy what we call "graving"; exploring graveyards and taking pictures. This type of exploration is something I did with my father when I was young, so it is nice to have a way to share it with others here on FindAGrave. Our last major project was taking pictures of every stone or marker we could find in the Ross Cemetery in McKinney, TX (originally an African American cemetery). At the time the grass was up to at least our waist in most places, making it difficult to locate many markers. It was a shame to see it in such a state but we've noticed that it has been better maintained in recent years.
