I'm a proud Army Brat. Born in Occupied Japan, lived in Germany for 3 years and several U.S. States. I've been in New York since 1970. Retired to Gallatin TN in 2014. Moved to Austintown, OH to be near family.
I find cemeteries fascinating. 1st Calvary (Woodside, NY) was five minutes from my workplace and as long as weather permitted I brown bagged my lunch and went there every day with a book for about 25 years.
My ancestors hail from Minnesota, South Dakota, Maine, Massachusetts, Canada, Germany (Prussia), Galicia (Austria-Hungary), Ireland, Scotland, England (and before that Normandy), Norway and Sweden. I've been working on my genealogy since the early 1970's and I love it when I connect with new cousins.
