I work as an archaeologist and historian for a cultural resource management firm. There are times when we evaluate and relocate historic cemeteries. I recently graduated with my masters in history with a thesis on cemetery preservation, education, and tourism.

I also love to explore my family history, which is deeply rooted in Kentucky, especially around Butler and Ohio Counties. I try to visit as many family graves as possible. The surnames include Daugherty, Williams, Ashby, Morris, White, Marrs, Brumley, Newbold, Little, and Ruby.
