I started doing genealogy over thirty years ago. My Dad, Fred Criswell, got me started. He exchanged information with a cousin of his and had a good detailed family tree report that was handed to me. This was before computers and I enjoyed taking trips to historical societies and cemeteries. Computers have made the searches so much easier. Find-a-grave is one of my favorites along with Family Search and Ancestry. I still really enjoy going to Historical Societies and cemeteries. Nothing like spending an afternoon walking through a cemetery and making discoveries!
