I'm a very blessed person being born into a strong Christian family. I was raised on a large ranch in western Fremont County, Colorado.

I went all 12 years to the Cotopaxi School.

I have been a cowboy, a construction worker and a correctional officer. I retired from the Colorado Department of Corrections in 2010. I subscribed to Ancestery.com for several years.

What sparked my interest in genealogy was a book on the Goode & Carpenter History by Ralph Carpenter in 1965.
