This is to remember resting places with particularly poignant or touching tributes, those who died while serving this country and to remember and save faces.
A headstone portrait tells us that a loved one sought the comfort of looking into their eyes, and they also wanted the rest of us to remember.
I know nothing about any of these lives, beyond what we try to imagine. My hope is that descendants or friends will find them here. I also want to preserve their faces before time, weather or, worst of all, VANDALISM takes them away.
