I started researching my family and their roots in 2010 when I retired from 35 years of heavy construction building freeways, airports and other major projects in California from as far North as San Francisco to the Mexican border, to Las Vegas, Nevada multiple times, to Phoenix, Arizona to my father's home state of Dallas, Texas to work on the North Dallas tollway back in 85-86. I latterly been a lot of places just like my family before me, We have been building heavy construction since my great grandfather in 1917, over 100 years and 5 generations doing not only doing what we were meant to after researching the "Wright " name but doing what we love. And now my next generation is building projects again in one of the area's we migrated through, Portland, Oregon. Now most of my time is doing very deep research of my Ancestors, And traveling to their graves and paying my respect's and trying to collect and tie in all the family's burials and correcting them so that those who come after me have a clear and correct account of who they were, what they did in their life and where they were buried.
