Bio
I became interested in my "Wolfe" genealogy a few years ago, and being a bit of a history nerd, I soon found myself spending large blocks of time on research and generally driving those around me crazy with my genealogical/historical ramblings.
My "people" hail from the Rhineland originally, but ultimately settled in Southwest Virginia. More recent generations have, and continue, to live in Russell, Wise, Smyth, and Wythe Counties in Virginia. My immediate kin live in the Knoxville and Oak Ridge Tennessee area, and I live in North Alabama- as do my parents and one of my two sisters.
I am a career public administrator, having worked in protective services and judicial administration at both the county and state levels in Alabama. I recently retired from public service and am in the process of re-careering as an independent consultant.
My anticipated change of pace has me hoping to resume my genealogical research and to pursue some leisure and volunteer activities. All of which has me now volunteering any help that I may provide to the users of find a grave.
