I have just begun trying to learn "the trade" of genealogy and creating my family tree. Findagrave's memorials have continued to be extremely helpful in providing info during my research. A big "Thank You" to those who have volunteered their time and efforts to create and maintain memorials.

This year (2013), I had my DNA tested and have been able to make contact with several relatives who are 3rd cousins and beyond. It's been fun and interesting discovering exactly how we're related by sharing our family's history.

I hope soon to begin routing out hidden-away cemeteries and photograph the gravestones and record their information. It seems though that most of them have already been discovered by so many enthusiastic findagrave members! But I'm going to try nonetheless. Wish me luck!
