I do not link to people with a designation of "Unknown" or "Body Lost..." as I believe in the stated objective of the Find A Grave website and that is- documenting the final resting place of the deceased. In most cases, I will add a note to the bio section of the suggested link, but I won't link to a relation that has no burial or an incorrect burial location.

I won't plop someone in a cemetery because I ASSUME they're there- nor should you.

I will verify edits sent to me if I feel it's warranted. In some cases, I will deny the edits if I can't locate supporting records and will ask you to supply them to me. That helps to keep things accurate (not best guesses) and it helps me improve my searching.

Please don't be rude to volunteers. Please be kind... say please and thank you. Please accept the knowledge that people make mistakes, people forget things, and don't be rude about it. And don't be a coward by throwing nasty and curt comments and then hide behind a profile that shuts off messaging and replies.
