I have been searching for ancestors for some time now, and really enjoy finding family and learning as much as I can about them. Family is important to me. Even though we are working to find family members that have passed on, it is still meaningful, and gives us the opportunity to connect with others that are within the same family. I think it is very enjoyable for me to help others and to share information that I have found. I know there are many that a searching just for that 'one' picture, or 'one' piece of information and to know that I am able to share what I have found helps someone else makes me happy.

I have just barely started working with Find A Grave, a brand new member, actually. I have found this to be very satisfying, to know there are others out there, all over the place, that are so kind and willing to go search for our family's graves and take photos as we request them. I appreciate all the work that is going on out there, that I wasn't ever really aware of, and hope that in time, I can do the same for others as well. I am thankful for family I have met through Ancestry and Find A Grave, that are helping me along, learning new and easier ways to find our loved ones. And many thanks to the first 3 volunteers that showed me what Find A Grave is really all about!
