Climbing my family tree for over 50 years. My Family names are Latham, Fitzgerald, Lowe, Sharp, Shewman, Davey, Darbyshire, Bibby, Nelson, Knowles, Nightingale, Millington, Parks, among a great many others, and all their ancestors going back as far as I am able.

I spend a lot of time physically tending my family gravesites so I am gathering their online memorials to do the same, making sure they are accurately displayed and the family lines portrayed.

My Find a Grave activities go far beyond just taking photographs and gathering memorials.

I physically look after the graves of friends/neighbours from my life in my local cemeteries to keep them maintained when their families are not able.

I am especially focused on Springcreek cemetery in Mississauga where I am surrounded by family, friends/acquaintances and their extended families I have known throughout my life.

I am most especially interested in the Veterans in Springcreek cemetery. I am a lifetime member of the Port Credit Legion and I am putting together a database for my Legion to ensure that our Vets will be honoured with poppies every November. I do clean ups as needed on those long left alone. Lest we forget.

I check the photo requests whenever heading out to any particular cemetery and try to fulfil as I am able so I hope that perhaps I have helped some other members.
