When I was very young, Dad had bought an original homestead of 160 acres so we moved to the foot hills of the Rocky Mountains. There was quite a bit of history that went with it.

There was a lot of exploring to do, most of it I did on horseback.

I remember long summers of exploring ghost towns and cabins in the woods with their own private burial grounds. Wow I wish I knew then to TAKE PHOTOS!

I have been lucky enough to visit most of the cemeteries where my ancestors lay, as I married a Military man and we were stationed only a State or two away each time.

I will be happy to transfer management if they are not my family.
