I'm retired and have plenty of time on my hands so I spend a lot of it searching through data on line at the local cemeteries. I enjoy linking family members and adding an obit when I can find one.
My trips to cemeteries for picture taking has been slow due to the weather, muddy roads are making it difficult for me and I'm also uneasy going to remote areas alone to take pictures. The cost of gasoline doesn't help any either.
I feel that if people my age don't get these family records passed on they will be lost forever. So many of my friends that have historic info just don't use a computer. I will do the best I can to pass on everything I can.
