I am honored to be the "keeper" of many photos and documents for the line of William Holliman, son of Christopher Holyman. These archives were provided by my grandfather and Uncle Ray Holliman for inclusion in my book The WILLIAM HOLLIMAN LINEAGE written in 2020 after 12 years of research.
Having a Ph.D., I approached the writing of this little-known connection to Christopher Holyman as I did in researching my dissertation. Thus, I continue to revise the misinformation found in genealogy sites and on Find a Grave. One example is the name "Griffon" which many spell as Griffin which is incorrect.
