I began using Findagrave to support my own family history research. It has been a wonderful resource. Several generous users have helped me over the years with their own research into family members. I initially became a contributor to add memorials for family members. Over time, as my research has grown to include extended family members and their families, I have been sending recommended updates to reflect my research. I appreciate the willingness of everyone who spends the time reviewing and accepting those updates. Of course, I would always be happy to return the favor. My goal has been to honor and remember my ancestors, unify them with their families, and provide anyone interested in learning about their own family with high quality, verifiable information on their ancestor as well as that ancestor's family tree.
