I was born and raised in Fayette County, WV. I graduated from WVU Tech in 2003 and 2004 with degrees in Public Service and History. I minored in Political Science and Economics. WV History was my primary focus during graduate school at WVU. I lived in Morgantown and Pittsburgh for a few years before returning to southern WV. I have worked with genealogy and local research for over twenty years. I work for the WV Higher Education Policy Commission and WV Community and Technical College System in the Division of Student Affairs. I have one son, David.
