I have been researching my family since 1977. I was writing a research paper for school. My MOM took me to visit with every living relative, over age 60. I interviewed them and took great notes. Years later, after my own children were born, I picked up the search again. All I had to go on was those notes and the fabulous Birmingham Library. Cemetery hopping, as my sons refer to it, has been one of my hobbies for the past 30 years. I never miss an opportunity to visit a relative, living or dead.

My husband and I live in the Northeast Alabama community of Langston. I work in the Birmingham area. My family is from Walker, Jefferson and Jackson Counties. I also have extensive history in the Athens and Atlanta,GA areas.
