When I was a child I use to walk the Alleene Cemetery with my Grandpa. He would point out those who went before him and tell me stories of his childhood, family and friends. Those are fond memories. I enjoy wandering the cemeteries looking at names dates and wondering who they were and what kind of life they might have lived. Did anyone tell their story like Grandpa told me?

A few years ago I started working on my family tree. I used Find A Grave for some research. I am appreciative to those who took pictures for me and decided to give back to others. I hope it will encourage others to volunteer as well.

I was a G.I. brat. I married my High School sweet heart in 1975. My favorite State is Alaska. I go there every summer for a short visit. It is nice to feel you are "home" wherever you go.

I have always loved dogs and feel you can not have just one or two or three.
