I have been working on my family tree for several years now. My Mom is my only living immediate relative that knows anything about our history and I thought it best to capture soon. She is now 84 and time is ticking.

My Dad was born in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California to an unwed Mother and through DNA testing I think I have found him. His name was Clarence Roy Hutson and if you are related to this family, please email me.

My Mom was born in Lufkin, Angelina County, Texas.

Both my parents were only children, so my brother and I didn't grow up with any cousins.

What I have discovered though is I must be a cousin, of some degree, or related by marriage to half of Lufkin, TX.

My Maternal family line is rather well documented and the names I am most interested in are Oates, Nerren, Beauchamp, Freeland, Snider, Upchurch to name just a few. The list is rather long.

My Paternal ancestry is a little more vague and deserves added attention. So if you have any information about the Schumacher and Timlin family lines, I would love to hear from you.

I apologize to each and everyone who finds my edits irritating when I connect family members together. Just know that I spend time to make the right connections.

If I place red roses on the memorial, I am related to them in some form.
