I have been chasing family lore and trying to confirm them with facts for about 20 years now, and all I know for sure.....
Is that for every one question you firmly answer- you will generate two more questions! What a great hobby.
My branch of the Baileys came to Texas between 1845 and 1848 from TN. Although I have extensive knowledge of the "tree" since then, I am totally stonewalled getting them back to the Smoky Mountains.
But interested and available for queries in Central Texas.
