I started working in Genealogy in 2005 when my daughter came home from school with an assignment to find an immigrant in her family tree. From that point on, I was hooked! My main focus is of course my own family tree, but that has expanded with a deep interest in the pioneers of the community in which I grew up.

I became involved with Find a Grave in 2015 after working on a cemetery project with a group of other genealogists to re-read and document, as best we could at the time, the lives of the people interred there. At that time, Find a Grave was just getting started in our community and so that is where it all began for me. It is so rewarding to Memorialize so many individuals whose names will live on forever.
