I take pictures of cemeteries for my own pleasure and decided to share them as a way to "pay it forward" to the wonderful people back in PA who were so kind as to post pictures of my family headstones, which have helped in my research projects. Hope they post more!
If any of the pictures I've posted offend you feel free to send me a POLITE message asking it be removed. I'm not interested self promotion or looking to getting attention for a group, so it won't bother me to remove things as long as you aren't OBNOXIOUS. :0)
Yes-I've had an unpleasant encounter with one of the grave police. I was going to quit posting until I made the mistake of going back to apologize(I was rude back) and then read a message about myself from another of the cronies. He said he didn't know why people like me would volunteer we just make messes(I added a second more legible picture, that was the mess)...It made me realize why, so other people wanting to contribute will have one less negative encounter. :-)
