My records show Cherry as a maiden name, but my father's biological name is Heath.
We learned via Ancestry a few years ago that our genealogy my dad studied since the 1960s was completely wrong. We should have realized that he and I are identical, yet we looked nothing like either side of the family.
My father's real father was Robert Henry Heath of Gonzales, LA, and he and I both look just like him! I would like to know everything I can about our Heath genealogy. We managed to find many distant relatives, but we cannot crack the code on William Heath, born in South Carolina, in 1809. Unfortunately, a contributor has made a false claim that he was buried in the same cemetery as his wife. I have made attempts to contact the contributor, but there is no response.
All but ONE of my memorials are either family members or related via marriage. I have one memorial which I am unsure how it became part of my list. Please contact me if you can confirm this person is your relative, so I can pass ownership. I only want to own memorials of my family members, which I believe is the only moral thing to do.
