My Mother is very much into Genealogy and I enjoy taking photos and playing in my paint-shop. I also enjoy exploring cemeteries and examining older monuments. My mother informed me of this site and asked me to become a contributor. I am more than happy to fulfill photo requests in my area.

Also Nettlecreek Cemetery is where my grandparents are buried and I have been photographing various headstones. I search for an existing memorial page first, if no result is found I have created one based solely on what is listed on the marker. I would like to round up some local individuals willing to put a little elbow grease into assisting in cleaning up Harbour South Cemetery. It is severely overgrown and it is difficult to navigate but there is still some clear stones back there if you make the climb through the brush. If something is not done it will eventually be lost forever. Honestly I have found a few others here in Champaign County that could use some clean up....
