Currently aiming to photograph and transcribe surviving graves in older part of East Wellow churchyard Hampshire whilst visiting my daughter who is temporarily based locally. My ancestors were from the area and whilst they don't appear to have surviving graves it's interesting to find out a little about those who lived amongst them and how the graves often link to others nearby. Many of the graves are very difficult to read, sometimes a grave looks hopeless only to visit with the sun at the right angle or in the dark with a torch to find actually there is a surviving inscription that I can record before it's too late. I'm hoping someone may benefit from this as I have done from the efforts of others. I'm happy to transfer management of memorials to any family member just ask.
