Carol Ann Engeman was born 1954, the 4th of 14 children born to James Joseph & Mary Helen (Gieselman) Engeman. The Engeman/Gieselman families have been farmers for 3-4 generations, even farmers near Westphalia, Germany.
Carol is an elementary school teacher, specializing in art and music. She married Guy B Davenport in 1978 and raised 3 sons: Guy,Jr. Paul and Peter. He died in 1986; then she married Patrick J McLaughlin and they raised one son, Joseph P. McLaughlin. Her 2nd husband died of colon cancer in March 2002.
Currently, Carol serves as caregiver for her mother on the family farm, teaches, and finds time to do genealogy research (began in Nov 2012). Family names to research: Engeman, Gieselman, Hake, and Kirsch.
