I've been working on my family history on and off since 1985. I'm researching surnames:
PATERNAL (Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Germany, Austria, Luxembourg)
Yost (and Jost), Hartmair (Hartmayr), Molitor, Lettenbichler, Schwarz, Winkel, Riser (Rieser), Antretter, Werhahn, Huwer, Brandenbourg, Feltes, Wisbaum, Zimmer, Schommer, Ott, Weis, Wansdorff, Wenner, and more
MATERNAL (Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Texas)
McGlathery, Howard, Busby, Turner, Slaton, Harris, Shannon, Rogers, Gardner, and Freeman, among others.
A big thank you to all the volunteers who uploaded photos, created memorials, and transcribed information. Except for one memorial, all of the memorials I'm managing were made by someone else and transferred to me, and all are related to me. I will transfer if requested by someone more closely related than I am.
ABOUT ME
Proudly am the brother of a US Navy veteran, son of a US Air Force veteran, grandson and great-grandson of Army veterans, and married to a US Army First Lieutenant. Also, descendant of three Confederate Civil War veterans.
